Hanel Baveja joined Union Square Ventures in February 2020. Prior to USV, Hanel was on the investment team at Insight Partners, a NYC-based growth stage software-focused fund. She has also worked on the business development team at Vettery, as an economics research assistant, a short story editor and writer, and a camp counselor. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, she studied Economics and Creative Writing at Harvard (with an intermission studying Art History and French in Aix-en-Provence, France) before moving to New York City.
